Cyber Security: How to Protect Yourself on the Internet
Yes, the Internet can be a perilous place. As we shop, bank, search, and share online, our personal and financial information are at greater risk of being exposed. But you can take specific precautions to protect yourself. Learn how to better safeguard your identity, your personal information, your computer, and your mobile devices when going online. Instructor Lance Whitney is a technology journalist and the author of the book book “Teach Yourself Visually LinkedIn.” He’s also written a book on Windows 8. He currently writes for TechRepublic, ZDNet, PCMag, and other technology sites. Previously, he was a system administrator with Ciba Specialty Chemicals. He's taught a variety of continuing education courses at Ridgefield Continuing Education for several years.
