Get the Most Out of Your iPhone
Just bought an iPhone, but want to get more out of it? This class will show you
the ins and outs of Apple’s popular smartphone. Have your iPhone (any model including
the iPhone X and higher) handy during our Zoom class and see how to use e-mail,
calendar, maps, and other basic programs. Learn how to take photos and videos,
listen to music and podcasts, and organize your apps. We’ll also look at Apple’s
App Store where you can download a wide variety of apps, both free and paid.
Instructor Lance Whitney is a technology journalist and the author of the book
book “Teach
Yourself Visually LinkedIn.”He’s also written a book on Windows 8.
He currently writes for TechRepublic, ZDNet, PCMag, and other technology sites.
Previously, he was a system administrator with Ciba Specialty Chemicals. He's
taught a variety of continuing education courses at Ridgefield Continuing Education
for several years.

A beginning level phone photography workshop for iPhone and Android. Learn how
to make the most of your phone camera's capabilities. We will go over precise
focusing, adjusting exposures, using portrait mode, action shooting, camera shake,
tripod
use, composition techniques and more. Instructor
Kathleen Fay is a certified Art Teacher who holds a BFA in Visual Arts from Purchase
College, an MFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art of Temple University,
and Art Education Certification through the College of New Rochelle. She is a
photographic artist and has taught all levels (elementary through college and
senior citizens) for over 20
years.

Learn
how to edit and enhance your photos with confidence using the Photos app on your
iPhone. The built-in editing
and enhancement tools - including adjusting light and color, adding filters,
crop and straightening - are amazing and you can easily fine tune your photos
in just a few minutes. For all skill levels and iPhone models with the latest
