Cardio, Core and More
A combination of low and high impact cardio will help you shred pounds and build lean muscle. Cardio drills combined with core exercises will be effective to get you into shape quickly. No weights are required for this class, just your determination to work hard and have fun!!! Please bring a mat, water and a towel. All levels are welcome. Instructor Patricia Anikewich holds many group exercise certifications and teaches at many Westchester and Connecticut fitness centers. Make up date, if needed is 1/27.

Pure Strength
Build strength and bone density using a variation of weights and resistance training methods. This class is designed for the novice as well as the more advanced participant. The class will begin with a dynamic warm-up using Low impact cardio moves and will progress to weight and resistance training for the entire body. Planks, push-ups, squats and lunges are always included; but not required, in this fun and dynamic work out. Modifications are always provided. The class always ends with abdominals and cool down. Please bring weights mat, water and a towel. Limited weights are available. Instructor will provide any other equipment that will be used. 60 Minute Calorie Burn Workout!
Shed those unwanted winter pounds with this 60 minute workout, guaranteed to get your body Summer ready! Low impact cardio, weight training and core work will help to speed up your metabolism and burn calories. Various equipment (bands, gliders and weights) will be provided by the instructor, Patricia Anikewich. Please bring your own mat, towel and water. Instructor Patricia Anikewich holds many group exercise certifications and teaches at many Westchester and Connecticut fitness centers.

Zumba®

Zumba® Gold and Core Toning with Motoko Kuroda
Have fun, burn calories, and tone your muscles with low impact dance and a wide variety of music. No dance or Zumba experience is needed. Easy to follow choreography and great music make you forget you are exercising. We dance not only to Latin rhythms, but also to a variety of international music, as well as to oldies from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and Broadway musicals. Toning exercises which target core muscles are incorporated into the session to boost muscle sculpting. We use exercise tools such as small weights, gliders, and drumsticks to add extra fun (all tools are provided). Wear comfortable clothing and shoes with good support. Bring a water bottle and towel. You’ll feel you’ve never sweated so much. Instructor Motoko Kuroda is a certified Zumba®, Zumba Gold®, and Zumba Toning® instructor with an M.A. in Fitness Management who has been teaching Zumba®, Zumba Toning®, and other cardio and toning courses for many years. Make up date, if needed, will be added.

Line Dance

Line Dance for Fun and Exercise: Beginners
The ideal workout. Burn fat and calories while you’re having fun. Do you know your right from your left, can you count to 8? - Then you can line dance! We’ll start with the basics and build from there. If you’ve been to this course before, come on back, we have new dances lined up for this course. Please bring +++a water bottle and wear leather or suede soled shoes to class. The instructors, Steve Parker and Ellen Russow have been Line dancing for over 20 years and teaching for nearly 10 years.

Barre-Lates

Barre-Lates

A fusion of Barre work and classical Pilates. Lengthen, tone and condition your core using light weights, bands and balls. All fitness levels welcome. 2 pound weights will be used. Feel free to BYOW (Bring Your Own Weights). Please bring water and a mat.
