Yoga ~ Day and Evening and Spring Equinox Yoga Nidra (keep scrolling) - Classes are taught In Person or Live and Online via Zoom.


Some classes are in person and some are on ZOOM.


Substitutes:

Morning Yoga Kickstart with Miriam Zernis ~ Morning
Get your week started with a positive, calm mental attitude and a un-kinked body in this class based on the undiluted, classical and holistic approach to yoga as a complete healing system. Students will move systematically through warmups, sun salutations and a short sequence of powerful poses to tone and strengthen all the muscle groups of the body. A deep and healing guided relaxation at the end of practice leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Miriam leads a timeless, balanced, meditative style for all levels. Please have a mat, yoga block, and blanket available. Instructor Miriam Zernis is an internationally certified Sivananda Yoga Master with over 20 years of experience in the teachings of yoga asana and philosophy, a certified Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Master and Kirtan (devotional chanting) artist. Make up date, if needed, is added to an open date or the end of the session. (Please reserve 2/13 and 27 if needed).

Gentle Morning Yoga for Body, Mind and Spirit with Miriam Zernis ~ Morning
Get your morning started with guided breath work, sun salutations, a series of easy, gentle poses with some variations and a deep guided relaxation that will leave you centered and ready to face your day. This well-rounded, meditative class is appropriate for all levels of practitioners with an added emphasis on stress relief, positive thinking, and self-empowerment. Please have a mat, yoga block, and blanket available. Instructor Miriam Zernis is an internationally certified Sivananda Yoga Master with over 20 years of experience in the teachings of yoga asana and philosophy, a certified Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Master and Kirtan (devotional chanting) artist. Vinyasa Flow Yoga with Emma Tenley ~ Evening
Focusing on Pranayama (breath) and postures (asanas) to create space in the body, this class combines the beauty of Vinyasa style yoga (gentle flow) and the slow and meditative yin yoga and is designed to help students connect their movements to their breath. Yogis will deepen their practice with sun salutations, backbends, hip and shoulder openers and more. Asanas (poses) will be repeated with variations each week through proper sequencing and class ends with breathing exercises, meditation and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome, beginner to advanced, to come practice mindfulness and yoga. Please have a mat, blocks, blanket or towel, and a water bottle available. Instructor Emma Tenley has been practicing yoga since 2014. She got her 200 HR certification at Three Sisters in NYC and also teaches in South Salem and Norwalk. Make up date, if needed, is added to an open date or the end of the session.

Spring Equinox Yoga Nidra with Miriam Zernis
Spring is a great time of year to set intentions along with resetting the body, mind, and spirit. Join Yoga Master Miriam Zernis for this special Yoga Nidra session to contemplate change, transformation, and growth for the new season. Yoga Nidra or "sleep with awareness" is for EVERYONE and offers a fully guided, systematic method of complete relaxation, holistically addressing the body and mind's physiological, neurological, and subconscious needs. It can also help restore mental peace and encourage general wellness while easing:

* Lack of energy from a busy life and an overactive mind.
* Depression, anxiety, and stress.
* Insomnia.
* And more.

After a short introduction, Miriam Zernis will skillfully guide you to finding a direct experience of this wonderful restorative practice. No yoga experience is necessary. Please have a yoga mat, blanket, neck pillow (or a rolled-up towel), cushions, bolsters, eye covering - or anything else you need for complete comfort - on hand. Also eat lightly before or after, dim the lights, and turn off all devices. Gentle Yoga with Mary Sireci
This class is designed to generate ease within the body, by poses that are strengthening and lengthening and suitable to meet needs of each student. Yoga magic in this class brings peace of mind, and positive energy. Ending with some yoga meditation, students will learn to calm the mind while feeling blissful in the soul. Please bring mat, blocks, blanket or towel, and water bottle. This class is for any interested person as modifications are made of each level. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Yoga blocks and yoga straps are helpful, but not necessary. Instructor Mary Sireci, a certified Hatha Yoga and Physical Education teacher, has been a dedicated yogi for years and is trained in making modifications for individual needs.

Simply Stretch with Mary Sireci
Gain freedom of movement, move comfortably and reduce pain in this relaxing class and fun class. Set aside some time for a stretch class that lengthens muscles and aids in mobility. Move with greater range of motion and less back and body pain. Students in this class will learn how to stretch those hard to reach muscles and will learn how to increase flexibility and move with greater range of motion. The use of dynamic and static stretches will be explored in each class. This class is for any interested person as modifications are made of each level. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Yoga blocks and yoga straps are helpful, but not necessary.
