Gentle Yoga with Shanta - On Mondays in the Summer! ~ Evening
This class will teach you a foundation of yoga poses that you can do anywhere! This is the “Integral” yoga style,  a mello, low-key, stress reducing class with light aerobic activity. Suitable for all levels, beginner to those wishing a gentle class.  Begins with opening chants, warm-up stretches and sun salutations. 15 plus asanas (poses) are taught that will be repeated and varied each week.  A deep relaxation period, breathing exercises, an introduction to meditation and closing chants follow.  Focus is inward to the eternal self and concentration is on a meditative flow and calming the mind and emotions.  Please bring a mat, blanket, and throw pillow.  Led by Shanta Marshall Ballou, a
certified Integral Yoga teacher has taught in the county since 1997. She has 500 HR trainings in Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga. She is a trusted pet sitter in the area. Make up date, if needed, is 8/12.

Yoga with Stephanie Alana ~ Evening
Classes open with a theme and empower students to bring awareness to posture, alignment and body mechanics. Stephanie offers instructive verbal cues. Meditation is incorporated into each class as breathwork or pranayama. Trendy mantra music creates an atmosphere of retreat and restoration. A brief flow is followed by a floor series to bring on meaningful relaxation and clarity of mind to end your day. Beginner and intermediate level students welcome. Modifications are offered to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all body types. Bring a mat and a tightly woven blanket or towel. Optional second mat for comfort. Instructor Stephanie Alana is a registered Yoga Instructor with Yoga Alliance. She completed her RYT 200 certification with the School of Yoga Medicine and head teacher Tiffany Cruikshank. She has been teaching individual and group classes in the Westchester area. Make up, if needed, is Monday, 6/24; Tuesday, 9/17 and Wednesday, 6/12.

Morning Yoga Kickstart with Miriam Zernis ~ Morning
Get your week started with a positive, calm mental attitude and a un-kinked body in this class based on the undiluted, classical and holistic approach to yoga as a complete healing system. Students will move systematically through warmups, sun salutations and a short sequence of powerful poses to tone and strengthen all the muscle groups of the body. A deep and healing guided relaxation at the end of practice leaves you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This is a timeless, balanced, meditative style for all levels. Please bring a mat and blanket. Instructor Miriam Zernis is an internationally certified Sivananda Yoga Master with 19 years of experience in the teachings of yoga asana and philosophy, a certified Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Master and Kirtan (devotional chanting) artist. Make up date, if needed, is 7/1.

Gentle Morning Yoga with Miriam Zernis ~ Morning
Get your morning started with guided breath work, sun salutations, a series of easy, gentle poses with some variations and a deep guided relaxation that will leave you centered and ready to face your day. This well-rounded, meditative class is appropriate for all levels of practitioners with an added emphasis on stress relief, positive thinking, and self-empowerment. Please bring a mat, block, and blanket. Instructor Miriam Zernis is an internationally certified Sivananda Yoga Master with over 20 years of experience in the teachings of yoga asana and philosophy, a certified Holistic Health Coach, Reiki Master and Kirtan (devotional chanting) artist.

Yoga with Emma Tenley ~ Evening
This class This class combines the beauty of vinyasa (gentle flow) and yin (slow, meditative) yoga and is designed to help students connect their movements to their breath.  Asanas (poses) will be repeated with variations each week through proper sequencing and class ends with breathing exercises, meditation and deep relaxation. All levels are welcome, beginner to advanced, to come practice mindfulness and yoga. Please bring a mat and a blanket. Instructor Emma Tenley has been practicing yoga since 2014. She got her 200 HR certification at Three Sisters in NYC and also teaches in South Salem and Norwalk.
