Tech journalist Lance Whitney will show you the major AI sites - ChatGPT, Bing AI, and Google Bard - and describe how to use them. He will also provide an overview of AI, explain what it means, and show you how AI can benefit you at work and at home. Instructor Lance Whitney is a technology journalist and the author of the book book “Teach Yourself Visually LinkedIn.” He’s also written a book on Windows 8. He currently writes for TechRepublic, ZDNet, PCMag, and other technology sites. Previously, he was a system administrator with Ciba Specialty Chemicals. He's taught a variety of continuing education courses at Ridgefield Continuing Education for several years.

Windows 11 Basics
Prerequisite: Basic computer skills. Have your laptop or desktop PC handy and ease your transition to Windows 11. Learn how to customize your Start menu and desktop, how to use the Windows Edge browser, how to personalize Windows though its array of settings, how to use AI with Microsoft Copilot, and how to shop for apps at the Windows Store. Bring your Windows 11 laptop to class if you wish or just follow along as we demonstrate different features.
