English As A Second Language (ESL), Credit Diploma Program (CDP), GED

If you are a resident of Ridgefield, Redding, Danbury, Brookfield, New Fairfield, Bethel, or Newtown you may take ESL, Citizenship, CDP, and GED classes free at WERACE in Danbury.

Call WERACE’s Community Resource Center in Danbury at (203) 797-4731 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Classes are held in Danbury.

Credit Diploma Program:
Call (203) 797-4731 for registration dates in Danbury. Any new student that did not previously attend a Danbury High School must bring a copy of their transcript. All students must bring an ID to registration. Students ages 17 and 18 must also provide evidence of withdrawal. new students are encouraged to call (203) 797-4731 prior to registration to set up an appointment with a guidance counselor.

Returning Students register August 16 and 17, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.
New Students register August 21 and 22, 2017.
Must arrive on time at start of a session. 9 to 11 a.m.; 12 noon to 2 p.m.; 4 to 6 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m.
Day Registration:
10 Crosby Street, Danbury
Evening Registration:
Danbury High School, 43 Clapboard Ridge Road.

At registration, all students will be required to sign up for an orientation session.
Orientation sessions will be offered: August 28, 29, 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; 2 to 5 p.m.; 6 to 9 p.m.

Classes run September 5 - December 21 

GED and ABE (Adult Basic Education):
Call (203) 797-4731 for registration dates in Danbury. GED students are encouraged to bring a copy of your transcript. All students must bring an ID to registration. Students ages 17 and 18 must also provide evidence of withdrawal.
